The FBI is investigating texts and mysterious calls from someone who communicates with governors, members of Congress and others who have claimed to be head of the White House Cabinet Susie Wiles, sources familiar with the matter said.

Calls and text messages seem to use Wiles’s voice, but they are believed to be an imposter who will sometimes ask for money, fountains said.

Wiles is seen as one of the closest advisors of President Donald Trump and administered his 2024 presidential campaign, and she has access to many senior officials in Republican circles. It is not clear who and how many people have received messages from the imposter.
