“Empire of the Paseo” Actor Michael Pitt was arrested and accused in Brooklyn on Friday for positions of sexual abuse, act of criminal sex, aggression and strangulation, according to judicial documents.
The actor declared himself innocent and was released until his next appointment in the Court in June.
The charges come from alleged incidents that occurred in 2020 and 2021, according to the Brooklyn district prosecutor’s office.
The accusation alleges that Pitt sexually abused an individual unidentified in April 2020 “through forced compulsion.”

In August 2020, the accusation affirms that an individual allegedly forced oral sex.
The accusation states that Pitt allegedly injured an individual with “a four for four” that same month.
In June 2021, the accusation states that Pitt allegedly assaulted an individual with an ash block.
In August 2021, the accusation states that it allegedly tried to strangle someone.
Individual identities are written in the accusation, so it is not clear if one or more people are making accusations against Pitt.
In a statement to ABC News on Wednesday, Pitt’s lawyer, James Goldman, said: “Unfortunately, we live in a world in which someone like Mr. Pitt, an consummated professional who never as much as he would contemplate these crimes, can be arrested by the non -corroborated word of an unreliable individual.
